It is mainly used for electrical protection (both current and voltage) of commutation and peripheral equipment with secondary surge protection. Characteristics of primary overvoltage protection are enhanced using a reversible current protection element.
Can be used to equip LSA-PLUS and LSA-PROFIL disconnection and switching modules partially or completely in combination with an earth bar when installed in a distribution point.
The protection circuit contains a 3-pole gas discharge tube, a fail-safe thermal protection of the tube and current protection elements.
