TWT UTP cable, 10 pairs, Cat. 5e, for outdoor installation with messenger, 305 meters per drum
Multi-pair non-shielded cable is intended for transmitting data, telephone and television signals at frequencies up to 100 MHz. The cable consists of 10 pairs of solid copper conductors. Outer jacket: PE. Conductor diameter is 24 AWG.
Each conductor is enclosed in HDPE (high-density polyethylene) insulation. Two conductors, twisted with a specially selected step, make up one twisted pair.
Twisted pairs are collected around the central element and enclosed in a common polyethylene (PE) jacket.
The cable includes a stranded steel messenger consisting of 7 steel wires of 0.5 mm diameter, the messenger jacket is connected to the cable jacket, forming a “figure of eight”. Cable with messenger is intended for hanging on overhead communication lines.
To facilitate cable termination, a rip cord is included under the jacket.
The cable is supplied in 305 meters drums. Other construction lengths can be supplied on request.
