Mechanical splice for joint optical fiber

The mechanical splice is designed for fast joint of single-mode or multi-mode optical fibers while maintaining the mechanical strength and moisture resistance of the junction of two fibers.

Fiber cladding diameter is 125μm and buffer diameter is 250μm or 900μm.

Splice kit includes 250µm to 900µm adapter sleeve and disposable cleaning wipes.

The joining of the fibers inside the splice is made in a special gel located at the point of contact. This significantly reduces optical loss. The presence of the gel causes no more than 10 reconnections.

The mechanical splice is a worthy alternative to a fusion splice.
